Aviation Purchasing Executive
Position – Full Time - Permanent
Salary – £18,000 - £22,000 DOE
Based – Royal Wootton Bassett, Wiltshire
Reporting to – Aviation Purchasing Manager

Our Head Office is in the UK with a team of 150 and we are now trading in South Africa, Australia, (Brisbane & Perth), and New Zealand, a total of 250 employees.

Job Purpose
To ensure flight bookings and queries are dealt with in a cost effective and efficient manner in order to help Products, Sales and Customer Support. Supporting our international offices in South Africa and Australia.
Typical Activities
- Update all products with accurate and up to date flight pricing, maintaining product margin and ensure operational guidelines are adhered to
- Support product with initial product build, delivering the most competitive flights when inside system range and accurate estimates when outside of range
- Carry out regular product sweeps, validating pricing and checking the air element still works with the package
- Support and align to the Product strategy and define preferred airline partners that fit our global growth strategy
- Produce Air offer summary to Global product teams maximising opportunity
- Quote, book and maintain all staff personal and business travel requests
- Liaise with airlines to request group seats
- Sign off all new product builds ensuring the air element meets customer and business needs
- Manage internal relationships with product/sales/operations and delivering on shared goals
Skill Set Required
Essential
- High level of attention to Detail
- Good Organisation skills
- Understanding of airline contracts/processes
- Basic skills on Microsoft office
Desirable
- GDS trained (preferable) on either Galileo, Amadeus, Sabre
