Information for travel from Wales can be found here

Information for travel from Scotland can be found here

Information for travel from Northern Ireland can be found here

Current travel health information can be found by visiting a resource set up by the Department of Health. The advice can change on all sites so please check regularly for updates.

Additional entry requirements and restrictions have been introduced due to COVID-19. These differ from country to country and may be subject to change with very little notice.

Please check the UK Government’s step-by-step guide to travelling abroad for the latest information.

International and domestic cruises have successfully returned sailing with newly introduced safety measures to ensure your cruise is safe. Please be aware that some ports of call may require you to do an organised ‘bubble’ excursion through the cruise line should you wish to disembark, there may also be short notice itinerary changes due to the quickly changing environment around the rules in certain destinations.

Vaccination and Testing Policies

Vaccination and Testing Policies have been introduced across every cruise line. More information can be found on the cruise line’s direct own web pages, see the links below. There will be additional destination entry requirements and government policies  for returning to the UK to consider. This is required for all cruises travelling internationally, even if you do not take a flight. Most cruise lines also require you to have COVID-19 travel insurance, this will be checked by the cruise line on embarkation.

Most cruise lines now require all crew and guests to be double vaccinated at least 14 days prior to sailing. You will also need to consider the vaccination policy for any international countries you are visiting.

Proof of your double vaccination status will be required for boarding and must be from an approved source,

  • NHS APP or equivalent
You are required to download the NHS or equivalent App to demonstrate your COVID vaccination status. Please note that this is not the same as the NHS Covid-19 App. The App is free to download on a mobile device such as a smart phone or tablet. It is important that the name on your passport MUST match how it is displayed by NHS COVID Pass. If the names are different, contact your GP practice to have your details updated.
  • Written vaccination proof

If you do not have access to the NHS App, please contact your GP or call 119 in the UK and ask for written confirmation of your vaccine status in good time before travel. This will be issued with a QR code, to be scanned where necessary. It must be dated from the 1st November 2021 to comply.

Returning to the UK

  • You are required to book and pay for a lateral flow test for your arrival back into the UK to be taken no later than day 2. This must be purchased prior to leaving the UK, leaving enough time for them to be delivered to your UK address. There is no longer a requirement for a pre departure test or to isolate on arrival back into the UK unless you test positive. Please use the below link for further details to arrange the lateral flow test.
  • You will need to fill in a Passenger Locatorform (PLF) before you return to the UK. You can submit the form any time in the 48 hours before you arrive in the UK.

You will receive a travel policy document with your tickets two weeks prior to departure. Please be aware that these rules and regulations could change before you travel.

For further details and to sign up to countries travel alerts please follow the government advice on .You must ensure you are aware of all mandatory travel requirements before you depart for your holiday. It is each passengers responsibility to check local requirements before travelling as failure to do so may result in being unable to travel.

My holiday has been cancelled

If your holiday has been cancelled by your cruise line, or you are unable to travel due to restrictions either in your home country or the country you’re travelling to, you do not need to contact us, we plan to contact you as soon as possible with more specific information on your options. We are currently assisting passengers travelling in strict date order and therefore we would appreciate your patience during this time.

I've been offered a cruise credit by my cruise line

The policies around Future Cruise Credits can be complicated and differ by cruise line. Our experienced team are actively working with each of our cruise line partners to fully understand the detail behind each cruise line’s terms and conditions so that we can talk through your best options.

If you have been offered a Future Cruise Credit by your cruise line and your holiday has not yet been cancelled, please note that the credit only applies to the cruise provided by the cruise line, it does not apply to the other travel elements of your booking. Imagine Cruising is your tour operator and the ATOL holder of the holiday.

I'd like to cancel/amend my booking
